Average height is: 24-26 inches for males (61-66 cm) 22-24 inches for females (56-61 cm) Approximate length is: 26-29 inches long, this may not be a value given by most sites and may not seem important until you want to buy a dog house and then it becomes very important to know. *Smooth Collie:  Our neighbor Paul's dog Laddie a smooth sable and white collie weighing in at about 95 lbs! Laddie has very large paws. Wonderful temperament as well. We are very happy to have been able to meet both today. Average weight for a smooth collie is 60-75 lbs.
